Journey Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Tanzania+

Direction: Kilimanjaro Airport → Arusha (1 hr)

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your private guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. The day is kept intentionally relaxed after the international journey, with time to settle in and prepare for the safari ahead.

Day 2 – Journey to the Ngorongoro Highlands+

Direction: Arusha → Karatu / Ngorongoro Highlands (3‑4 hrs)

Activities: Scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, optional cultural stop, lodge relaxation

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, the journey moves west from Arusha toward the Ngorongoro highlands. The scenery gradually shifts into farms, escarpments, and cooler highland air. This day is designed as a gentle transition toward the wilderness before entering Serengeti.

Day 3 – Into the Serengeti Plains+

Direction: Ngorongoro Highlands → Central Serengeti (4‑5 hrs excluding game viewing)

Day 6 – Final Serengeti Morning & Return to Ngorongoro+

Direction: Central Serengeti → Ngorongoro Highlands (4‑5 hrs including game viewing)
