Direction: Kilimanjaro Airport → Arusha (1‑1.5 hrs)
Activities: Airport meet & greet, private transfer, safari briefing, rest and recovery

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. The day remains intentionally relaxed, allowing time to settle in before the safari begins. Depending on arrival time, your guide may provide a short briefing on the route, timing, and park experiences ahead.
Direction: Arusha → Tarangire → Karatu / Ngorongoro Highlands (2.5‑3 hrs to Tarangire, then approx. 2 hrs to Karatu)
Activities: Morning departure, Tarangire game drive, picnic lunch, scenic transfer to the highlands
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: The Retreat at Ngorongoro (mid) / The Manor at Ngorongoro (luxury)
The safari begins in Tarangire National Park, known for baobab landscapes, seasonal river systems, and large elephant herds. After a day of wildlife viewing, the journey continues toward the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands, creating a smooth and practical route for the crater experience the following morning.
Direction: Ngorongoro Highlands → Ngorongoro Crater → Karatu (2‑3 hrs excluding crater exploration)
Activities: Early crater descent, crater floor game drive, picnic lunch, highland return
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: The Retreat at Ngorongoro / The Manor at Ngorongoro
An early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater reveals one of Tanzania's most dramatic wildlife environments. The crater floor supports lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, flamingos, and rich birdlife within a compact and visually striking landscape. After the crater safari, return to the highlands for a relaxed final evening.
Direction: Karatu / Ngorongoro Highlands → Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport (3‑4 hrs to Arusha, 4‑5 hrs to Kilimanjaro Airport)
Activities: Leisure morning, scenic return drive, optional cultural or craft stop, airport or hotel drop‑off
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
The final day follows a scenic return through the Great Rift Valley toward Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Depending on flight timing, there may be time for a relaxed cultural stop or lunch before departure.
